Social enterprises’ (SE) growth is much more complex than for commercial ventures since it concerns improving both commercial performance and social impact. Although the EU has worked extensively for creating a favourable environment for the development of SE, there are still significant differences at the Member States’ level that hinder the development of such an ecosystem. The lack of personnel with business acumen and the need for innovative business strategies are additional internal issues that need to be addressed.

Uncertainty about the future, today more than ever requires us to foster the sustainable growth of the social enterprises, whose role in todays society is essential. The Deal4Good Project intends to do this by exploiting social public procurement as the key to the sustainable development of SE.

Deal4Good aims to empower social enterprises to successfully participate in Social Public Procurement (SPP). By bridging the gap between vocational education and the social economy, the project aims to provide  professionals the skills and knowledge to support social enterprises in navigating the complexities of SPP. This initiative fosters a more inclusive and equitable market, enabling social enterprises to contribute significantly to societal and environmental goals.
