Agricultural Revitalization in Higher Education Institutions of Asian Countries (AGRHI): A transformative project uniting higher education institutions from India, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka with European counterparts to enhance agricultural education and innovation across Asia. With support from the European Union, we’re revitalizing curricula and introducing state-of-the-art technologies to drive agricultural growth.
Through AGRHI technology hubs, we’re fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and developing new solutions to revolutionize farming practices. Our digital platform offers free resources and tools, ensuring inclusive education for rural and underprivileged young farmers. The AGRHI app provides decision support for regional farmers, boosting productivity and sustainability. The general objective of AGRHI project is to enhance agricultural education and innovation across Asia through transnational cooperation and technology transfer. Moreover, AGRHI project is targeting:
- Promote a revitalized agriculture curriculum to address contemporary challenges and opportunities in the sector.
- Introduce cutting-edge technological innovations to enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability.
- Establish AGRHI technology hubs across participating Asian countries to facilitate knowledge sharing and technology transfer.
- Develop a comprehensive digital platform for agricultural education, providing accessible resources and tools for farmers and students.
- Create of the AGRHI app, a user-friendly tool for farm management and decision support, aimed at increasing productivity and efficiency.
- Conduct extensive dissemination and outreach programs to ensure widespread adoption of project outcomes and empower agricultural communities across Asia.
