Supporting Entrepreneurship in Eco Design

Fashion.ED aims to promote sustainable practices in fashion by enhancing the skills and knowledge of students and professionals. The program supports the next generation of eco-fashion entrepreneurs through training, digital tools and resources. Objectives include developing entrepreneurial skills, providing knowledge on eco-design in fashion through interactive VR experiments, organising training and study visits, and stimulating innovation through a competition for ecodesign business plans.     

Fashion.ED will implement various activities to promote sustainable practices in the fashion and textiles industry. Theseinclude developing the eco design skills of students through a MOOC, providing them with knowledge and interactive VR experiments on eco-design in fashion and textiles, organising training and study visits to real-world eco-fashion companies and involving students in a competition for the development of business plans in eco-design ventures.

Outcomes: enhancing the knowledge and skills of students and professionals regarding sustainable practices, eco-design, and circular economy. Improvement of entrepreneurial skills among students in developing successful business plans that incorporate eco-design in the fashion industry. Moreover, increasing awareness and understanding of the eco-fashion sector among students, educators, professionals, and the wider public, leading to the growth of sustainable and circular fashion industry.
