Innovative bridal dresses and baptismal clothes from peace textile with Eco-Consiousness (IBDPTEC)

In order to put ecological awareness into practice, the IBDPTEC Project participants attempt to produce fabric from the remnants of agricultural peach production. The by-product of co-production, that is, which, at present, burdens the environment, will be saved by passing through the stages of regenerated cellulose, fiber, yarn, in order to be finally processed into fabrics. This product, as a result of an innovative process with ecological awareness, will be used in the design of wedding and christening clothes. Thus, a new life will now connect the agricultural and processing production of Northern Greece with the new families that are starting their lives today.

IBDPTEC won the 7th place in its between 2.302 proposals

Clothing industry has long been rightly looking for materials whose creation does not put too much strain on the environment. In the context of developing ecologically conscious production methods, research is being conducted worldwide on the use of recyclable and organic materials. This effort, however, does not end with scientific research. It also requires the acceptance of new materials, both by fashion houses and by the consumer public.

The IBDPTEC Project, based on the global approach to a complex issue like this, is a broad collaboration. In this context, the scientific research does not take place in vacuum, but in collaboration with Luccia B, which has undertaken the control of the quality of the fabric before it reaches the market, the design of bridal and christening clothes and, finally, their promotion to the audience. This is a special category of clothes with a special weight in our lives. It is therefore reasonable that if the public accepts the new material in such a situation, it is only a matter of time before they generally accept it.
