Users and electronic services support of the Greek School Network

The Greek School Network, (GSN) (http://www.sch.gr/en) is the national network of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, which securely connects all primary and secondary schools, including foreign units, the services and supervised bodies of the Ministry at central and regional level, the bodies providing lifelong learning services, the students, the education executives and the other teachers and bodies of the Ministry of Education.
Through GSN, the Ministry of Education provides the educational community with specially designed digital learning, communication and collaboration services, governance, as well as user support and assistance services in all schools in the country, even in the most remote. GSN fully certifies all members of the school community (schools, administrative units, teachers, students and administrative staff).
The possibility of strict certification is utilized by the Ministry of Education and its supervised bodies (IEP, ITYE, etc.), for the provision of specialized electronic learning and e-government services.
In the context of GSN, University of West Attica supports 3000 schools and critical platforms such as Learning Activity Management System (http://lams.sch.gr), Asynchronous e-learning  (http://e-learning.sch.gr), file sharing platforms, etc.
