BIOCOMP: Competences in the Biobased Economy

The BIOCOMP project (https://biocompetences.eu/) started in October 2019. Its aim is to describe and prioritize skills and competencies related to Biobased economy (BBE), as well as to develop an online tool, based on learning scenarios to create personalized training programs for VET students and workers in the circular economy and biobased economy.

The project focus on the following 4 learning scenarios:
– Production of Algae,
– Biogas,
– Cereals for bio-packaging,
– Setting up a BBE company.

The results of the project can be found in the navigator: www.navigator.biocompetences.eu, where you can access the individual sections of the learning scenarios. The scenarios “Algae” and “Setting up a BBE company” have been finalized and are ready for testing, while the other two scenarios, “Cereals for bio-packaging” and “Biogas”, are in progress.
